Alumni Interview Evaluation

In order to reduce anxiety about the interview and to give students the chance to think about their answers in advance, we are now using a standard set of admission interview questions that we share with students. Please review the above mentioned questions prior to your Alumni Interview and consider the questions below as you structure your post-interview evaluation:

1. In 4–5 sentences please highlight key themes that emerged from your conversation including any context that may have been shared with you. In particular, we welcome learning the “why, how and with whom” more than a listing of their activity. Keep in mind: We will see their application (transcripts, essays, activities, etc.); Some students may be a good fit for Harvey Mudd even if they do not show it in the interview.
2. Other. Did any noteworthy or unusual topics arise? What might they reveal? (Can be any part of the interview, but especially question 11 in the admission interview questions.)
