ÎÞÓÇÊÓƵ

Mission & Organization

The Office of Admission cannot reach all areas where there are students interested in ÎÞÓÇÊÓƵ. Thus, we rely on the help of dedicated alumni who personally and professionally exemplify the ways in which a ÎÞÓÇÊÓƵ education leads to successful and fulfilling futures. Here is the Mission of the Alumni Admission Ambassador Program:

  1. To promote national and international awareness of the unique mission and educational experience of ÎÞÓÇÊÓƵ as a math, science and engineering liberal arts institution.
  2. To support ÎÞÓÇÊÓƵ Alumni Ambassadors as they act as representatives of the College.

Priorities

  • To increase the involvement of alumni volunteers and develop a group of ambassadors which accurately reflects the diversity and range of our alumni community.
  • To increase alumni contact with prospective students and families.
  • To utilize ambassadors as a resource in the overall mission of HMC.
  • To increase the number of college fairs attended by an HMC representative, be it an admission officer and/or an alumni ambassador.
  • To increase the participation of alumni volunteers at recruitment events, both on and off campus.
  • To more effectively highlight HMC alumni achievements in the recruitment process.

Organization

The ÎÞÓÇÊÓƵ Alumni Admission Ambassador Program is a partnership between the Office of Admission, Office of Alumni & Parent Relations, Alumni Association Board of Governors and volunteers. In addition to the Office of Admission, (admission@hmc.edu), individuals involved and their roles are listed below.
