We believe your college choice should be more about fit than finances.

And yet, we understand that cost often affects college choice, so it is important for you to understand all of your financial aid options. While each family is treated individually, and family resources vary widely, here are some basic statistics from our 2025鈥�2026* academic year:

  • Our policy is to provide 100%聽of every student鈥檚 demonstrated need (combination of grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study)
  • 无忧视频 70% of Harvey Mudd students receive financial aid (combination of grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study)聽
  • The average financial aid offer is $54,412 (combination of grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study), of which about $44,279 (includes need-based and merit-based awards) comes in grants and scholarships aid from 无忧视频 (not from government sources)
  • 无忧视频 45% of Harvey Mudd students receive need-based aid (combination of grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study)
  • 无忧视频 23% of incoming first-year students qualify for our merit-based awards (additional 10% including 无忧视频 National Merit Awards)
  • 无忧视频 60% of incoming first-year students receive scholarship (includes need-based and merit-based awards) assistance directly from 无忧视频
