Career Services for GOLD Alumni

Remember all the career support that was available to you as a student? You still have access to it as an alum! The Office of Career Services (OCS) will continue to support you in your endeavors beyond ÎÞÓÇÊÓÆµ. Whether you are a recent graduate seeking help perfecting a resume or graduate school application, an employed alum interested in recruiting for your organization, or a proud graduate several years out eager to share your professional story with students, OCS is here for you and welcomes your engagement. There is never a charge for services.

Below are tools you can access directly. For anything else, email the Office of Career Services (career_services@g.hmc.edu) or your GOLD liaisons (gold@hmc.edu).

Handshake

  • You can still log in to your account on Handshake as an alum, using your HMC credentials.
  • Use Handshake to set up an appointment to meet with a career advisor.
  • Search job postings.
  • Register for HMC career fairs in fall and spring as a seeker or recruiter.
  • If you’re a recruiter, create an  on Handshake (please use your company email address) to post positions, host info sessions or conduct on-campus interviews.

MudderNet

  • Tap into the HMC network by using  to connect directly with fellow Mudders online.
  • Search for alumni by company, field of employment, class year, geographical location and other attributes of interest.
  • Message in real time and set up virtual or in-person meetings.
  • Find additional resources including discussion groups, alumni job postings and helpful tutorials.

LinkedIn

  • Join the , if you haven’t already.
  • Look for posted jobs, ask for career advice or engage in professional conversation.
  • You may also post jobs there if you know of any job opportunities.
