Declaring Your Major
Major Declaration
Students must declare a major or file an IPS plan by the end of their fourth semester. First-year students may not declare a major in their first two semesters of enrollment at the College. The earliest they may do so is after the end of their second semester of enrollment. Transfer students admitted with sophomore standing or higher may declare a major upon their matriculation at HMC. 3/2 dual-degree transfer students are automatically declared engineering majors at the time of matriculation at HMC.
When you are ready to declare your HMC major please submit the (Google Form).
Change in Major or HSA Advisor(s)
罢丑别听Advisor Change Form (PDF) is required when submitting a change to your major or HSA advisor(s). You can email the completed form to registrar@hmc.edu or submit the form to the Registrar鈥檚 office.
Off-Campus Majors
When declaring an off-campus major, one of the following forms needs to be completed and emailed to registrar@hmc.edu or submitted in person to the Registrar鈥檚 Office:
