– A type of charitable savings account that gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to ÎÞÓÇÊÓƵ and other qualified charities.

Qualified Charitable Distribution ()
If you are 70½ or older, you may donate directly from your IRA for tax benefits and higher charitable impact.

Stocks and Mutual Funds – Give stock that has appreciated and that you have held for at least one year to obtain a dedication for the full fair market value of the stock and avoid paying tax on capital gain. Contact advancement_services@hmc.edu to initiate a transfer of stock and/or mutual funds.
