Cloud Block Store (CBS) is Pure Storage鈥檚 virtual volume provisioning service in Amazon鈥檚 cloud computing platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS). CBS provides high durability and availability beyond the standard cloud services that AWS provides. However, many elements of CBS require manual control. Our goal is to create the tools necessary to automate many of these manual tasks, thus increasing the efficiency and usability of CBS. This gives CBS greater flexibility and scalability which will directly impact CBS鈥檚 performance and adoption.
