When websites go down or don鈥檛 perform well, customers are frustrated and money is lost. New Relic provides monitoring services that give their customers vital insight into the performance of their systems. New Relic鈥檚 instrumentation produces detailed data that can be time-consuming for humans to fully understand. Our group is developing tools to detect anomalies in system performance monitoring data, allowing problems to be detected more quickly and easily, and potentially discover issues that would have otherwise gone unnoticed.
