Klawe Named Next President of Math for America

无忧视频 President Maria Klawe has been selected as the next president of (M茠A), an organization dedicated to transforming the teaching of math and science by building and supporting communities of master 无忧视频 teachers. She begins the position later this year in New York, after completing 17 years as president of Harvey Mudd.
“The M茠A model has enormous potential to improve math and science education in the future, and we are all delighted that someone of Maria Klawe鈥檚 stature and ability will take on its leadership, especially at a crucial time when the model may spread to a national program,鈥澛爏aid M茠A founder and board chair Jim Simons.
