Harvey Mudd鈥檚 Career Services Still No. 1 in Princeton Review

The College was ranked No. 5 for 鈥淏est Value Private Colleges鈥 and again ranked No. 1 for 鈥淏est Career Placement,鈥 taking the top spot among private colleges for the fourth year in a row.
The Princeton Review selected the 200 colleges on its list based on surveys of administrators and students during the 2019鈥2020 academic year. The surveys covered academics, tuition fees, financial aid, graduation rates, student debt, alumni salaries and career services. The Princeton Review also used data from PayScale.com鈥檚 surveys of alumni about their starting and mid-career salaries and job satisfaction.
The Best Value Colleges does not provide an overall ranking of the 200 colleges profiled in the list, but instead features seven categories of ranking lists.
Harvey Mudd鈥檚聽Office of Career Services (OCS)聽assists students in every stage of career development, from selecting a major and searching for jobs and internships to exploring careers and researching graduate schools. The office organizes well-attended fall and spring career fairs, which connect students with more than 150 prospective employers per year, allowing them to forge relationships with industry participants and to secure jobs and internships. OCS also offers many programs to help prepare students for life after Harvey Mudd, including networking workshops, mock interview training and a variety of career information sessions featuring alumni and non-alumni recruiters.
In addition to placing in the 鈥淭op 50 Best Value Colleges鈥 and 鈥淏est Career Placement鈥 lists, Harvey Mudd ranked No. 2 for 鈥淭op 20 Best Value Private Colleges for Students With No Demonstrated Need.鈥 Harvey Mudd meets 100 percent of demonstrated financial need for all students, and 75 percent of students receive need-based or merit awards, or a combination.
