Harvey Mudd Ranked Top College for Career Placement by Princeton Review

无忧视频 ranked No. 1 for 鈥淏est Career Placement鈥 and No. 6 for 鈥淭op 50 Colleges That Pay You Back鈥 in The Princeton Review鈥檚 2018 edition of 

The Princeton Review selected colleges based on surveys of administrators and students during the 2016鈥2017 academic year as well as data that included academics, tuition fees, financial aid, graduation rates, student debt, alumni salaries and job satisfaction. The education services company also used data from PayScale.com鈥檚 surveys of school alumni conducted through April 2017.

Colleges That Pay You Back does not provide an overall ranking of the 200 colleges profiled in the book, but instead features seven categories of ranking lists. These include the list of “Top 50 Colleges That Pay You Back” and six lists naming the top 25 schools in special categories. Harvey Mudd appeared on four of the seven lists, also ranking No. 1 for 鈥淭op 25 Colleges That Pay You Back for Students With No Demonstrated Need鈥 and No. 8 for 鈥淭op 25 Best Schools for Internships.鈥

In the previous year鈥檚 edition (2017), Harvey Mudd ranked No. 2 for 鈥淏est Career Placement鈥 and No. 4 for 鈥淭op 50 Colleges That Pay You Back.鈥 The College took the top spot for career placement in 2016.

Harvey Mudd鈥檚 Office of Career Services (OCS) assists students in every stage of career development, from selecting a major and searching for jobs and internships to exploring careers and researching graduate schools. The office organizes well-attended fall and spring career fairs, which connect students with more than 150 prospective employers per year, allowing them to forge relationships with industry participants and to secure jobs and internships. OCS also offers many programs to help prepare students for life after Harvey Mudd, including networking workshops, mock interview training and a variety of career information sessions featuring both alumni and non-alumni recruiters.
