Many thanks to mathematics alumna Kyra Wyld ’17, who provided an exclusive puzzle for the HMC Department of Mathematics newsletter. Here’s a repeat of the rules as well as the completed puzzle.
Each triangle bound by bold lines must have the numbers 1 through 6 once and only once. Sets of parallel lines form bands via neighboring parallel lines. These bands must have the numbers 1 through 6 twice and only twice.
